TI-RS4 · Launch, recovery & sustainment
Roost
A hive for Kestrel. Bolts to a pickup bed, rides on a trailer or sits on a roof. Launches four sentries, swaps their batteries in ninety seconds and keeps them on watch indefinitely.
What Roost does.
Three ways to install
Vehicle bed kit, 2.4 m towed trailer or fixed rooftop plinth. Same hive, same software, no civil works.
Grid, generator or sun
Runs on shore power, an integrated hybrid generator or a 6 kW deployable solar array for off-grid sites.
Robotic battery exchange
Kestrel lands, the hive swaps its pack and it relaunches. Charged packs rotate through a climate-controlled magazine.
The hive moves too
On a vehicle, the whole constellation relocates with the convoy. Kestrels follow and re-perch along the route.

03 — FAQ
Roost, answered.
Does Roost need a permanent installation?
No. The trailer and vehicle kits are fully self-contained. The rooftop plinth needs a structural survey and a power feed.
Can Roost work with other drones?
Roost is optimized for Kestrel. Meridian can still command third-party docks and aircraft through its open integration layer.
How long can a Roost sustain operations off-grid?
With the solar array and hybrid generator, a Roost supports four Kestrels on a 24/7 rotation for 21 days between refuels in temperate conditions.
Works with the rest of the fleet.
